Made this video using iMovie, the dubstep song ‘Crystal’ by O.A.E, and clips from Legend of Korra. Was going for a disco-blinding lights effect, which I think fits Lin’s boss fighting style. XD Man, Lin is my all-time favorite character there. Makes sense considering her parentage – Beifongs kick bending butt! XD
God, the feels when she sacrifices herself for Tenzin’s family… Please excuse me while I go tearbend. 😥

A while back I got one of these ‘painting-by-the-numbers’ kits as a present and I was never able to properly finish it until summer vacation. Ah, the joys of being freed of rigorously enforced academic schedules. 🙂 (You couldn’t classify SDSS as such anyways, lol.)
After many hours of standing hunched back to the sky and dabbing at the canvas I’m FINALLY done! XD I can’t take the credit for the composition, and I admit it looks pretty impressive until you realize all I did was fill in the sections as per labeled ^_^” Once I have some more free time I’m thinking I might add texture to it, but will probably need to buy some new paints for that.
Felt like practicing my video editing skills and needed a multimedia project for SDSS Art, so I made a Toko/Zoph (Toph x Zuko) AMV (anime music video) to Lights’ ‘Quiet’. She rocks, and the song is a different take on the shipping from the other hard rock/metal/dark-pop Toko AMVs. Of course I ship Toko as both couples and just friends, although the Toko community is pretty small but strong so its surprisingly easy to find fellow shippers ^_^’ – enjoy! 🙂 Had some cropping problems and the quality is on the shabbier side in some cuts, but I’m really happy with how it turned out! Was hard to find good scenes, non-canon couples are so hard to ship -_-

BTW while I’m on an Avatar run, you should check out this amazing dubstep rap take on LOK’s opening theme. Blew my mind 🙂 Man, I swear ATLA + LOK has some of the most dedicated and obsessed fans ever. Take note that LOK is a brand new series, and after only the 6th episode people were already cosplaying! I mean, seriously? That kind of community doesn’t come so early UNLESS there is some mystical boss unifying story… which ATLA has! ;D

This is a super fun game my brother made based on the bending sport ‘pro bending’ (it’s like wrestling or boxing, supernatural martial art style) in ‘The Legend of Korra’. The goal is to knock the other team off the board by firing the weapons next to each character and using traps/ability cards. My team is the right one (all metalbenders!!! woo!!!!!! go metalbending police force!) and the left is my brother’s, which has aang (legit figure from the old Lego nickelodeon sets) and a custom waterbender and firebender. Each team’s territory has three zones, the other team may advance when all members of the opposition are pushed back a zone.
Kk, so my brother and I (actually my entire family) have been really into LEGEND OF KORRA, the sequel to the award-winning ‘Avatar: Aang the Last Airbender’!!! It is downright amazing, and as hardcore fans we’ve all reeeallly enjoyed the new and old aspects of the new series! Season 1 just finished (it premiered on April 14) and Season 2 is coming up 🙂 Super super super excited to say the least!

toph beifong is a mouthy, blind earthbender who ‘sees’ by analyzing the vibrations of the earth when she strikes the ground 🙂 she is aangs earthbending mentor and becomes a member of ‘team avatar’. she single handedly discovers the technique for bending metal, which she teaches to the world thro her Beifong Metalbending Academy. Later on she becomes the chief of police in republic city and her daughter, Lin, inherits the title and her earth/metalbending skills 🙂
